Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson hits back at trolls saying she's 'ageing poorly'

FORMER Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson has hit back at trolls accusing her of "ageing poorly" over the years. The 40-year-old bombshell, who was one of Hugh Hefner's "bunnies" was just 18-year-old when she moved into the infamous Playboy Mansion. She was scouted for the role in 2004, after she had appeared as a "painted girl" at his 78th birthday party. Shortly afterwards the teen caught magazine CEO Hefner's eye, and she was invited to become one of his girlfriends.

Famously Kendra starred in the reality show The Girls Next Door, alongside fellow girlfriends Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. During her time in the mansion - where she lived from 2004 to 2009 - was a fan-favourite, particularly for her bubbly personality. Her popularity resulted in her landing her own reality shows Kendra, which ended in 2011, and Kendra on Top, which ended in 2017. However, she later left the world of Playboy in her past and focused on her family and becoming a real estate agent in 2020.

Kendra has opened up about having trolls leave cruel comments on her recent photos on Instagram. She wrote: "I used to use a light filter on myself, but now I'm just embracing myself as it is. "I've seen many people comment saying I've aged 'poorly' and that is ok. I'm ok with aging 'poorly'.

"For some reason, I'm happier than I've ever been lately, even with a little weight gain and wrinkles, and I'm not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy." She added: "I am a balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life, and I hope that I can manage this feeling forever now after working hard to get here to this place. "I was verrrry young when I started TV and lived a crazy chaotic 20 years of impressing others, but now it's about ME. "Giving back to ME. Even with less money and way less fame.

"I'm now a realtor and a mom of a 16 and a 11 yr old. "Watching them grow has been my ultimate happiness over everything else. I'm so beyond grateful for today!" Kendra shares her children, Hank Jr. and Alijah, with pro basketball star Hank Baskett, whom she split from in 2018 after 10 years together.

Many fans have been quick to leave comments in support, including model Crystal Harris, who was the third wife of Hefner. Crystal wrote: "Cheers to those who grow and move on to the life waiting for us." One fan added: "It's honestly a blessing to age. Idk why people are so against it. We aren't meant to stay young forever.

"People just need to learn to enjoy the ride. PS you're a hot mama Kendra." And a third agreed: "Mamacita!! There's nothing poor about you!! You've always been gorgeous.

Always will." Kendra has opened up about how living in the Playboy mansion, as well as having her 60-year age gap romance with Hefner, still affects her ideas about intimacy. She said on the I Do, Part 2 podcast: "I struggle still to this day with my relationships and my views on sex. "I had to go through a lot of therapy. "They looked at me and they were like - this is the first time I'm admitting this - but they're like, 'You might have a little bit of a sex problem." Kendra shared how being sexualised in the mansion affected her view of sex - but that she was ready to leave and start a new life for herself.

"I left the Playboy mansion at age 23, got pregnant, got married at the age of 23, then started my life as a wife and a mother," she explained on the podcast. "And it was the golden years of my life," she said, adding that it was the "right timing." "I found myself just, you know, so bored at the Playboy mansion. I was just like, 'I'm ready to leave this place. I'm ready to start a family.'" After going through therapy, she now has peace of mind.

"I'm just in a really good place," Kendra shared.
